Dr. Aaron’s experience competing in State Athletics, representing Australia at the World Cross Country Championships, and playing State Level for basketball have cultivated his treatment approach; being a competitive athlete he understands the stresses and rigours placed on the body due to athletic endeavors, in particular the lower extremity.

My initial experience with Podiatry came at a young age being a competitive runner and athlete struggling with foot and ankle pain. I competed in State Athletics for 10 years and represented Australia at the World Cross Country Championships in 2008 in the Czech Republic. I also played at the State Level for basketball. These experiences have cultivated my treatment approach; being a competitive athlete I understand the stresses and rigorous placed on the body due to athletic endeavors, in particular the lower extremity.
Furthermore, I understand that medical jargon can be confusing, I take the time to ensure that the rationale behind the action is explained and understood. The profession is challenging but also extremely rewarding and stimulating. The variety of patients I see, from adolescents and young children to the elderly means that each patient is unique and as such the care plan I structure is individualized and holistic. The convenience and luxury of having so many treatment modalities in one centre allows for each practitioner to address a specific facet of the issue and ensures the best treatment outcome is achieved. I am a basketball fanatic, and play regularly, as well as following the NBA and local competition. Fitness has always been a big part of my life. I also have a penchant for retro sneakers and footwear in general, bordering on obsession!
