Exercise Physiologist

Carlos Bervenotti is originally from Brazil and has been living in Australia since 2008. After finishing his undergraduate studies in Physical Education and Exercise and Sports Science

(UniFMU -2007) in Brazil, he decide to make the move to Australia and develop his knowledge in the exercise physiology field.

 

In 2012 he completed his Masters in Exercise Science through the University of Notre Dame Australia (UNDA), where he evaluated the effects of resistance training on children with motor difficulties and the impact it has on bone mineral density. His studies have granted him an opportunity to work as a research officer for the bone density project at UNDA.

 

Carlos has worked in a variety of gyms, fitness studios and fitness centres as an exercise physiologist and personal trainer. He has trained clients of all ages from children to the elderly. Carlos loves to help people to improve themselves, and achieve their personal goals. He also has experience taking group fitness classes such as spinning, stretching & flexibility, Pilates, outdoor fitness, functional training and HIIT.

 

His areas of interest are neuromuscular and cardiovascular rehabilitation, strength and conditioning, functional training, sport specific training (soccer and team sports) and endurance sports (running, swimming, cycling, and triathlon).

 

In his spare time, he loves to spend time with his wife Fernanda and his son Giovanni, he enjoys all forms of exercise, playing soccer is his passion, and loves good food! 

 

Carlos is an accredited Exercise Physiologist and Exercise Scientist with Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA) since 2011.
