Meagan completed a Bachelor of Health Science (Naturopathy) at Endeavour College of Natural Health. She has a background predominantly in complex chronic digestive complaints and female hormone support amongst other chronic and acute health conditions. She is particularly interested in mental health, chronic pain and inflammation, and women’s health issues (including support whilst coming off the contraceptive pill.
Naturopathic philosophy follows the practice of identifying and treating the cause of disease manifestation, removing the obstacles to cure (factors preventing health and leading to disease manifestation) by altering diet and lifestyle factors. Then, if necessary stimulating the healing power of nature by prescribing herbal formulas and nutraceuticals to correct nutrient deficiencies and stimulate the body’s own healing processes to overcome illness.
Meagan combines the latest evidence-based treatment approaches with traditional methods of herbalism to formulate holistic, personalised treatment plans and prescriptions.
